We are visiting the DMZ and the JSA.

I decided to treat the boys to this fascinating tour. While it is fine to go to the South Korean side of the DMZ, to go further to the Joint Security Area is a special tour that can only be conducted by one of four licensed agencies. You must bring your passport and you are under military escort. There are also some strict rules, which I’ve pictured here. The boys and I are stoked!! This looks so cool to do!!!

It's about $80 a person and certain countries don't allow their citizens to go. If you are a South Korean, you are not allowed to go. I think that is why they check your passport.

Thank you Dom!! There were other tours that included all of the DMZ but the JSA is where you can actually gawk at the military from both sides watching each other!!! I should post a better description of it.
